I took a month off my Minerva Craft Blogger Network makes but I’m back at it again with a new summer dress!

For this make I made a mini wrap dress using the Simplicity 8137 pattern and a gorgeous Lady McElroy linen look viscose.

I shortened all the pattern pieces to fit – I took 2.5cm out of the bodice, 15cm off the skirt and 6cm off the sleeve hen.

I love how this turned out despite how tricky I found the fabric to work with. I made the rookie error of not ironing my fabric before cutting it out and it moved around like crazy!

It’s such a fun summer dress though. I just wish it was warm enough to wear it out!
