Are tassel earrings still in fashion? Whether they are or I have no idea but I love them anyway!

They’re such a fun statement earring as well as being super lightweight and easy to wear (my ears can’t cope with heavy earrings!). I did some experimenting the other day and made these!

And I wanted to share how I made them with you!

I got my jump rings and earring hooks at Hobbycraft for just a few pounds with enough to make quite a few of these! The embroidery floss I already had from a different project so this ended up being a really budget friendly DIY.

I can see myself wearing these fun earrings on holiday or in the summer, jazzing up a simple maxi dress or elevating a beach look!

The general tassel making principles are so simple and can be applied to so many things and in different ways – make them longer, shorter, fatter, thinner, in multiples or by themselves… Now I’m super keen to experiment more and add them to everything!
