So I didn’t realise quite how long it’s been since my last blog post – over a year!
Seems absolutely mad to me!
This past year has passed by in a blur and I’ve been keeping very very busy. I’ve mostly been busy doing a lot of non sewing related things though so there’s not been much blog related content! 😅
Much of the year has been spent working on finishing my masters course (in minimally invasive facial aesthetics in case you were interested) which was completed this summer. The return to exams and dissertations was not a pleasant one!
There’s been lots of fun weekends away with family and way too much time playing with my beautiful baby niece. We’ve had lots of excuses for fun trips including seeing Taylor Swift st Wembley and a trip to a safari park to feed giraffes!
We also bought a new house at the end of the summer 2023 so many weekends have been spent down in Ramsgate doing DIY and brunching!
The rest of my time was spent playing too much netball and working on my pottery skills which have improved greatly! (The netball skills not so much… 😬).
That being said, I managed to carve out some time to make the outfits for my older sister’s wedding and a few other bits and pieces which I’m planning to share!
I’m aiming to keep the blog going for now albeit at a much more leisurely pace compared to previously. (I can’t believe I started out doing two posts a week? How did I even manage that???)
Thanks for sticking with me if you’ve been a regular reader/ welcome to the party if you’re new here!

Looking forward to your blogs
Hello,
Nice to hear from you. I was always wondering where you got the time to sew and make as much as you did.
I really like to read and see what your makes are, especially in a slower pace.
