Christian Dior – Designer of Dreams // V&A exhibit

If you’re planning to go to this exhibition and don’t want any spoilers, look away now!

The exhibition at the V&A museum features the history of Christian Dior himself and impact of the brand from the origins of the fashion house up to the modern day collections.

It shows off the multiple processes of creation from sketches and toiles to the finished garments. You can get a real close up of the details on some of these amazing dresses!

It also explores the connection of Christian Dior to the U.K. as well, featuring the gorgeous dress worn by Princess Margaret for her 21st birthday portrait.

I loved how you could see the transformation under each creative director as time progressed.

Most of all though, I just loved being in the rooms with all the pretty dresses! Each room of the exhibit gets bigger and better and I spent most of my time there with my mouth wide open gasping in awe!

There’s photographic evidence…

It’s a truly beautiful exhibition and it’s on in London until mid July this year.

Try to get tickets if you can!
